Ballet for a Cause

My Mission

The Green Ballerina Organization was started because ballet has shaped who I am. I started dancing when I was six which is also when I started to notice how polluted the beaches were around me. This is how “Green Ballerina,” which combines my two passions, came to be.

Green Ballerina raises funds for two efforts. First, we raise funds for scholarships for young people who would otherwise not have the ability or opportunity to dance ballet. I wish to give others the love and joy that ballet brings me, and also to make the industry more accessible to young people. Second, I organize beach cleanups and coral restoration projects near where I live in Miami, FL. Learn more about our work, and get involved by heading to the “Donate” section!
